Bianca Falso, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker specializing in the treatment of mental health illness and trauma related concerns.
Regardless of the challenges that may bring someone to therapy, Bianca assesses and develops a customized plan to meet their individual goals. She views therapy as a time to be curious about one's self and to build awareness and impact day-to-day functioning. By uncovering the patterns, individuals and families apply new and transferable skills learned in therapy to meet their goals. Bianca immediately works to build rapport lending to a therapeutic relationship that prioritizes healing and treatment.
Bianca utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Art Therapy, and Relational Therapy. Bianca has completed specialized training in the treatment of trauma specifically Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. She also incorporates the Nurtured Heart Approach into her work with families and children. The Nurtured Heart Approach is an evidence-based approach designed to support families in managing behaviors and emotions within families.
Outside of her employment at Centra, PC, Bianca is the director of a long-term psychiatric treatment facility for adolescent youth in the State of New Jersey. In this role, Bianca oversees the treatment and treatment milieu of individuals with psychiatric disorders. Prior to this, Bianca has provided individual, family, and couples counseling in mental health clinics, college counseling centers, and high school counseling centers.
Bianca received a B.A. in Psychology from The Catholic University of America. She received her Masters' of Social Work from the National Catholic School of Social Service. She is a certified Advanced Trainer for the Nurtured Heart Approach.
