Adolescence & the teen years are some of the most rewarding & challenging of times for families, and require a very particular expertise. The clinician must not only be able to relate to the teenager's ever-changing world, but also be able to negotiate it within the context of family rules and dynamics. Often these demands appear to be opposed, yet with a careful treatment approach, trust with the adolescent can be established while being consistent with respecting family rules & values. Whether dealing with normative but difficult teen issues or more serious mental heath issues, Centra's experienced clinicians can provide an accurate assessment along with solution focused treatment.
